off to pride

Make a weekend of it

Stay close to the parade.

Six central hotels, three budget options and nearby rail towns.

2026 event — 2027 date to be confirmed

Choose your Belfast base

These six hotels are within walking distance of the published 2026 parade route or Custom House Square. Central Belfast is compact, so the main difference is which end of the day you want to be closest to. The Cathedral Quarter suits the parade start and the evening; City Hall suits the middle of the route; Donegall Quay and Victoria Street suit Party in the Square and Pride Village.

Room rates change with dates, availability and cancellation terms. No fixed Pride room price is quoted. Check the exact property, room, guest count and total payable before booking; contact the hotel directly about specific access needs. Walking suitability depends on your mobility and on road closures on the day.

Overflow bases: Lisburn, Holywood and Bangor

These towns can widen the search if central Belfast is full, but compare the whole trip rather than just the room price. The times below are typical daytime rail estimates, not a Pride special timetable or a promise of a late train. Add the walk to each station and the walk from the Belfast station to the route.

Lisburn → Belfast Grand Central
About 20 minutes
Holywood → Lanyon Place
About 11 minutes
Bangor → Lanyon Place
About 30–35 minutes

Lisburn is south-west of Belfast on the Portadown line, with trains into Grand Central. It is a city in its own right with a choice of places to stay. Grand Central is on the western side of the centre, so allow for the walk to City Hall and Custom House Square.

Holywood is a small town on the shore of Belfast Lough, just east of the city. Trains on the Bangor line call at Lanyon Place, the closest station to Custom House Square. Rooms are fewer than in Belfast, so book early.

Bangor is the seaside city at the end of the same line. It has more accommodation than Holywood and frequent daytime trains. Check the time of the last train back after a long Pride Day, and whether a later bus or taxi is a realistic backup.

Use Translink to check the exact times for your date, including the last train home. Check any Pride Day travel updates before you travel.

Before you book

  • Confirm the event date with the organiser before making a non-refundable reservation.
  • Check check-in time, luggage storage and cancellation terms.
  • Ask about access using the exact room and entrance you will use.
  • Ask the hotel how to reach it while city-centre roads are closed.
  • Plan the late journey and save the accommodation address offline.
