2026 event — 2027 date announced: 10 July 2027
Choose your Bristol base
Bristol Pride happens in two places. The Parade March gathers in Castle Park and ends on the harbourside; Pride Day is up on The Downs. The six hotels below are mostly in the Old City and around Castle Park, within walking distance of the march start. One is in Clifton, close to The Downs. This is a location shortlist: walking times depend on your mobility, the entrance you use and road closures on the day.

Room rates change with dates, availability and cancellation terms. No fixed Pride room price is quoted. Check the exact property, room, guest count and total payable before booking, and contact the hotel directly about specific access needs.

That was a 2026 offer booked directly with the hotel. Check the organiser’s travel and stay page for any partner offer in 2027.
Three budget options to compare
“Budget” describes the brand or accommodation format, not a guarantee of a low Pride-weekend rate. Compare all-in prices, dorm versus private rooms and cancellation conditions.
YHA Bristol
A hostel on the harbourside, near the march finish and the shuttle buses to The Downs. Compare dorm and private rooms.
Check rooms on Booking.com ↗ibis Bristol Temple Meads Quay
A budget-brand option for rail arrivals, close to the Temple Gate stop for buses 1 and 2 to The Downs.
Check rooms on Booking.com ↗Hampton by Hilton Bristol City Centre
A limited-service hotel within walking distance of Castle Park and the city-centre bus stops. Compare the total price.
Check rooms on Booking.com ↗Overflow bases: Clifton, Bath and Weston-super-Mare
These places can widen the search, but compare the whole trip rather than just the room price. The rail times below are typical daytime station-to-station estimates, not a Pride timetable or a promise of a late train. Add the walk to each station, waiting time and the journey from Temple Meads to The Downs.
- Clifton Down → Bristol Temple Meads
- About 13–15 minutes
- Bath Spa → Bristol Temple Meads
- About 11–16 minutes
- Weston-super-Mare → Bristol Temple Meads
- About 17–31 minutes
Clifton is part of Bristol, west of the city centre and right beside The Downs. It suits visitors who care most about Pride Day and want to walk back after the festival. The march start in Castle Park is a longer journey, so allow time for a bus or the train from Clifton Down in the morning.
Bath has frequent direct trains to Bristol Temple Meads and a wide choice of hotels. From Temple Meads you still need a bus or train to reach The Downs. Check the late service back from Bristol for your date, and remember that crowds leaving Pride Day can slow the journey to the station.
Weston-super-Mare is on the coast south-west of Bristol, with direct trains to Temple Meads. Journey times vary a lot between fast and stopping services, so check which train you will actually catch. It can work for an overnight stay if you choose a realistic return train and keep a backup plan.
Use GWR or National Rail to plan the complete return journey, including any engineering works on your date.
