2026 event — 2027 date to be confirmed
Crewe Pride is a free, one-day town-centre celebration built around a short parade and a stage in Lyceum Square. In 2026 it took place on Saturday 13 June. Crewe Town Council later reported that the event returned to the town centre that day, with a parade, live performances, stalls, food vendors and activities.
The scale suits a first Pride or a relaxed family day. Crewe Nub News described the 2026 event as family friendly and all-day, with tribute acts, local performers and food from local vendors. The organising committee told the paper that Crewe Pride is “a statement of unity, visibility, and progress.”
Pride began as protest, and every local event still carries that history of visibility and the fight for equal rights. In Crewe, that history sits alongside a cheerful programme of music, speeches and community stalls.
The 2026 event ran on Saturday 13 June, from 11.45am until 7.30pm, according to the Crewe Pride website. The main site was Lyceum Square, in the town centre beside the Lyceum Theatre. The parade began at 11.45am and the stage programme followed from noon.
Crewe Market Hall also joined in. Its 2026 poster, published on the organiser’s Market Hall page, promised live music and entertainment, food, drinks and bars, activities and stalls “from 12pm”. The hall described itself as “at the heart of Crewe Pride”.
No 2027 date had been announced on the organiser’s website when we checked in October 2026. Wait for an official announcement before booking anything non-refundable.
The organiser’s published parade map asked participants to assemble at Crewe Town Square at 11.15am. The parade set off at 11.45am. The map showed a short loop around the Lyceum Theatre block, finishing at Lyceum Square.
The 2026 route turned left onto Market Street, right onto Heath Street, right onto Prince Albert Street and right onto Earle Street. It then turned right back onto Market Street and right onto Heath Street, arriving at Lyceum Square. Follow the next map rather than assuming the same loop.
Because the loop is compact, Market Street and Heath Street suit spectators who want to see the parade pass twice. Lyceum Square suits people who would rather keep a place near the stage. These are suggestions based on the map, not reserved viewing areas. No group registration process or fee was published on the pages we checked.
Entry was free in 2026. Crewe Nub News reported free entry with free activities and performances, and said sponsor support kept the event free. Discover Crewe also listed the event as free. Budget separately for food, drink and anything you buy from stalls.
The organiser’s 2026 programme opened with the parade at 11.45am, then The Wirral Samba Drummers at noon and Diva Fiesta at 12.15pm. Later came tributes to Ariana Grande, Bronski Beat, Chappell Roan and Taylor Swift. Speeches were scheduled for 4.10pm, and Platinum Steps closed the programme at 6.30pm.
No age restrictions were published for the outdoor event, and local coverage called it family friendly. Bars inside the Market Hall may apply their own checks, so carry photographic identification if you plan to buy alcohol. Check each venue’s own rules for any evening event.
Crewe station is on Nantwich Road, outside the town centre. National Rail lists it as managed by Avanti West Coast, with step-free access to all platforms. Allow time for the walk or bus into the centre, and use a walking map for the route to Lyceum Square.
Crewe bus station sits in the town centre and returned to service in 2024 alongside a new multi-storey car park, according to Cheshire East Council. Check the current operator timetables for Saturday services and any diversions near the event.
Cheshire East Council lists the Crewe Town Centre multi-storey (CW1 2JA), open 7am to midnight Monday to Saturday, with a 2.15m height limit. Delamere Street, Victoria Centre and Gatefield Street car parks are other council options. Blue Badge holders can park free in council car parks when the badge is displayed correctly.
We found no published road-closure schedule for the 2026 parade. A town-centre procession can still hold up traffic, so allow extra time. The programme ended at 7.30pm; check the last train for every leg of your journey before you travel.
Crewe is compact, but its hotels are spread out. A station-side room helps with luggage and trains, while business-park hotels suit drivers. Check cancellation terms while the 2027 date remains to be confirmed.

The organiser’s website did not publish accessibility details for 2026. We found no information on accessible viewing areas, event toilets, BSL interpretation or a quiet space. Ask the organisers before relying on any of these, and keep any agreed arrangement in writing.
The 2026 parade loop was short. That makes it easier to watch one stretch and then rest. Crewe Market Hall offers an indoor alternative if you need a break from the crowd.
National Rail lists Crewe station as step-free to all platforms, with accessible toilets, a Changing Places toilet and staff help available. It also noted that the lifts between the Weston Road entrance and the subway were out of order. Book Passenger Assistance in advance and check lift status before you travel.
