A walking parade down North End, community stalls by the Clocktower and a free main stage at BOXPARK beside East Croydon station.
2026 event — 2027 date announced: 17 July 2027
Croydon Pride is the borough’s community Pride, run by a registered charity with a volunteer board of trustees. In 2026 it moved from Wandle Park to BOXPARK Croydon, beside East Croydon station. The day combined a walking parade, community stalls at Braithwaite Halls and a main stage at BOXPARK.
Pride began as protest, and Croydon Pride still frames its parade as a call to be visible and stand together. The charity describes its aims as raising awareness, celebrating Croydon’s LGBTQIA+ community and challenging inequality. Its organiser photo galleries, posted on 26 August 2026, confirm the 2026 event took place.
Croydon Pride 2026 took place on Saturday 15 August 2026. The organiser’s timeline opened community stalls at Braithwaite Halls, by the Croydon Clocktower, at 10am. BOXPARK’s stalls opened at 11am and its main stage at 1pm. BOXPARK became 18+ at 7pm, and the event closed at 11.30pm.
BOXPARK Croydon is at 99 George Street, CR0 1LD, with its main entrance on Dingwall Road. Braithwaite Halls stalls closed at 4pm and BOXPARK’s stalls at 5pm. A trustees’ address followed at 5.30pm.
Croydon Pride 2027 has been announced for Saturday 17 July 2027. The organiser’s homepage carries a “Save the Date” notice. Parade applications for 2027 are due to open in early 2027.
The organiser’s route page says the 2026 parade started at 11am outside Marks & Spencer on North End, CR9 1SH. It headed south down North End and crossed the tram line at the junction with High Street, George Street and Church Street. It finished outside Grants on High Street. Londonist gave the start as 11.30am, so allow for that difference when reading older listings.
Walking in the parade was for registered organisations and individuals only, though anyone could register. The whole route was step-free. Watching was free and open to everybody.
The organiser suggested the sides of North End and High Street, or Katharine Street outside the Croydon Clocktower. Katharine Street puts you close to the Braithwaite Halls stalls afterwards. Keep doorways and crossings clear, and agree a meeting point before the parade arrives.
Entry to BOXPARK was free in 2026, but tickets had to be registered in advance through Eventbrite. The organiser said a ticket did not guarantee entry. If the venue reached capacity, a one-in, one-out queue applied, including for re-entry. We could not confirm whether Braithwaite Halls needed a ticket.
The main stage ran from 1pm, with hosts Tiana Biscuit and Sophia Stardust. Acts included Emma Lindars, Cheryl Fergison, Sam Buttery and The Cheryl Kitty Show, with Absolute Britney closing. DJs played a second BOXPARK space from 11am, and Braithwaite Halls had live sets.
Under-16s had to be with a guardian aged 18 or over. Under-18s had to leave BOXPARK by 7pm. Outside alcohol, outside food and glass were not allowed. Sealed, clear plastic water bottles were permitted. BOXPARK was card-only, with Challenge 25 at the bars. Bags had to be A4 size or smaller, with no cloakroom. Only assistance dogs were admitted.
East Croydon station is right beside BOXPARK’s Dingwall Road entrance. The organiser notes that all its platforms have lift access. West Croydon station is nearer the start of the parade on North End. National Rail lists East Croydon as staffed 24 hours a day.
Inside Croydon reported that town-centre tram stops, including West Croydon, Wellesley Road and George Street, were closed from 6 to 30 August 2026 for track work. Trams still ran from East Croydon towards New Addington and Beckenham Junction. Check TfL for planned works before you travel in 2027.
A London Bisexuals group listing said Fell Road and Mint Walk, by the Town Hall, were closed on the day. We did not find a council notice. The organiser named Ruskin Square Car Park on Dingwall Road, CR0 2NB, open 24/7 with 24 Blue Badge bays.
We found no Pride-specific late trains for 2026. With an 11.30pm finish, check your last train or night bus before you arrive.
Staying near East Croydon keeps the late finish simple, with BOXPARK and the station on your doorstep. These three are close to Dingwall Road and the town centre. With the 2027 date set for 17 July, compare cancellation terms before booking.

The organiser’s 2026 accessibility page described step-free, level access at BOXPARK’s Dingwall Road entrance. A passenger lift served the upper terraces. Accessible toilets on both levels used RADAR locks, with keys available from staff. There were accessible viewing areas with priority seating near the main stage.
A dedicated quiet space was promised, and the stage used strobe lighting, smoke and confetti cannons. The organiser suggested ear defenders and standing further back if needed. Braithwaite Halls had ramp access, lifts, accessible toilets and a calmer setting without strobes.
National Rail lists lifts, accessible toilets and an induction loop at East Croydon, but no Changing Places toilet. West Croydon has only partial step-free access and no lifts. We found no BSL interpretation for 2026. Email the organiser at info@croydonpride.org.uk, the address on its venue accessibility page.
The organiser has announced 17 July 2027. The 2026 event was on 15 August. Check the official site for the programme before booking non-refundable travel.
