2026 event — 2027 date to be confirmed
Choose your Edinburgh base
Pride Edinburgh is a one-day event, so many visitors come for the day. If you are staying over, the Old Town keeps you close to the march route and the festival village at Bristo Square. The hotels below are within walking distance of the published 2026 route. Edinburgh’s Old Town is hilly and cobbled, so walking suitability depends on your mobility and the exact address.

Room rates change with dates, availability and cancellation terms. June is a busy month in Edinburgh, and no fixed Pride room price is quoted here. Check the exact property, room, guest count and total payable before booking; contact the hotel directly about specific access needs.

Check rooms on Booking.com ↗Overflow areas: Leith, Musselburgh and Linlithgow
If central rooms are scarce or expensive, these places can widen your search. The times below are typical daytime journeys, not a Pride timetable or a promise of a late service. Add the walk at each end and allow for busy trains.
- Leith → St Andrew Square (tram)
- About 10–20 minutes, depending on stop
- Musselburgh → Edinburgh Waverley (train)
- About 7 minutes
- Linlithgow → Edinburgh Waverley (train)
- About 20–25 minutes
Leith is Edinburgh’s port district, north of the centre. Trams run along Leith Walk to St Andrew Square and Princes Street, then it is a walk up to the Old Town. Leith Walk is also close to the Broughton Street venues for the evening. Check the last city-centre tram towards Leith for your date, rather than relying on a departure from the far end of the line.
Musselburgh lies east of the city on the coast. The train to Waverley is short, but services are less frequent than on busier lines, so check the timetable for your return. Musselburgh station is some distance from the town centre; check the walk to your accommodation.
Linlithgow is a historic town to the west, on the line between Edinburgh and Glasgow. Trains are frequent in the daytime and stop at Haymarket on the way. It suits visitors who want a quieter base and an early evening return.
Plan the complete return journey with ScotRail, National Rail or Edinburgh Trams before you book.

- Check check-in time, luggage storage and cancellation terms.
- Ask about step-free access to the exact room and entrance you will use.
- Tell the hotel your arrival time so it can advise on road closures around the route.
