2026 event — 2027 date to be confirmed
Choose your Stoke-on-Trent base
Stoke-on-Trent Pride’s 2026 event took place in Hanley Park. Station-side rooms help with arriving by rail, while Hanley accommodation suits the centre and the onward park walk. The wider city includes several distinct neighbourhoods. Check the property’s actual address and the journey to the published festival entrance, rather than choosing from the city name alone.

A 2027 date remains to be confirmed. Compare refundable terms before choosing a weekend. This is a location shortlist, not a promise of a particular rate, room or access feature. Nearby options include hotels, an aparthotel and two guest houses, identified below. The three budget comparisons involve a separate journey, which needs adding to your costs.
Six hotels and guest houses near the park or central areas
Hilton Garden Inn Stoke on Trent
A Hanley base for the onward park walk and city-centre food or evening plans.
Check rooms on Booking.com ↗Potbank
Apartment-style hotel rooms on the Stoke town side, useful for rail arrival and walking north towards the park.
Check rooms on Booking.com ↗North Stafford Hotel
Opposite the railway station, useful for luggage and the onward walk towards Hanley Park.
Check rooms on Booking.com ↗DoubleTree by Hilton Stoke-on-Trent
A northern city base with a longer walk or local transfer to the historical festival site.
Check rooms on Booking.com ↗Crownford Guesthouse
An adults-only guest house east of Hanley Park, with a shared kitchen for a smaller independent stay.
Check rooms on Booking.com ↗Kilnview Guesthouse
An adults-only guest house whose listing places Hanley Park around 1.2 kilometres away.
Check rooms on Booking.com ↗North Stafford Hotel puts rail arrival first, with Winton Square and the station beside you. Potbank is on the Stoke town side, while Hilton Garden Inn favours Hanley. Festival Park is farther north than the historical festival site. Check the complete walk, including crossings and luggage, before deciding whether you want a local transfer instead.
Crownford and Kilnview are smaller guest houses rather than conventional full-service hotels. Their Booking.com descriptions identify adults-only accommodation. Check that policy against your party before booking, and read the arrangements for shared spaces, arrival and your exact bathroom. Do not assume a guest-house listing provides a staffed reception, lift or family room.
Potbank’s operator says adjoining Friday and Saturday live music runs until 1am. That is useful information if you want an evening nearby, but important when uninterrupted sleep matters. Ask about the room’s position before booking. At any property, confirm luggage storage and late entry rather than treating proximity to Pride as a guarantee of suitable arrangements.
Three budget options
Budget means options worth comparing against central rooms on the same dates. These are not guaranteed to be the cheapest choices. Add fares, parking, breakfast and the journey back before judging value. Check whether the rate is refundable and whether the particular room fits your party; a lower headline price can exclude something you need.
Holiday Inn Express Stoke-on-Trent
An economy-chain comparison near the football stadium, requiring an onward journey to the park.
Check rooms on Booking.com ↗Borough Arms Hotel
An independent value comparison west of Stoke, with a taxi or local bus journey to the festival.
Check rooms on Booking.com ↗Clayhanger Guest House
An adults-only guest house for comparing a smaller stay, with transport needed to Hanley Park.
Check rooms on Booking.com ↗The Holiday Inn Express is on the stadium side of the city, away from Hanley Park. Borough Arms and Clayhanger are in Newcastle-under-Lyme, a separate town to the west. These addresses need a bus or taxi plan. Check return services before booking, especially if you intend to add an evening activity after the daytime festival.
A smaller guest house can offer a different kind of stay from an economy chain. Clayhanger’s listing describes adults-only accommodation. Ask about your exact room and arrival arrangements, and contact the property about any access need. Keep an agreed essential feature in writing. Read the cancellation terms rather than assuming all rooms at one property use the same policy.
Overflow areas
Manchester: faster direct trains take around 35 minutes. Avanti publishes a fastest journey of 35 minutes in the reverse direction. This is an approximate normal-service comparison, not a Pride timetable. Manchester has a wider accommodation search, but add travel to Piccadilly and the onward park walk. Check your own outbound and return services before choosing a room.
Newcastle-under-Lyme: around 30–40 minutes between bus stations, plus the park walk. First Bus’s autumn 2026 Saturday timetable includes journeys of around 30–40 minutes between Newcastle and Hanley. This is not a 2027 Pride timetable. Check live diversions, the best stop for your hotel and the final park entrance. A taxi may suit some journeys, but compare its cost and availability first.
Overflow accommodation adds journeys at both ends of the day. A room near Hanley or the railway station may be worth more than a lower rate farther away. Compare the total for your whole party and consider the effort of leaving after music or a busy afternoon. Keep an earlier return as an alternative if your preferred service changes.
Normal journey examples do not establish late-night services or engineering arrangements for the next Pride. Search the actual date once it is announced. If your trip depends on a connection, check the final leg as carefully as the train from Stoke. Save the hotel address and timetable offline, and keep money available for a fallback.
Before you book
Confirm the property address, cancellation deadline, included meals and any minimum stay. Ask about parking charges and whether a space can be reserved. North Stafford Hotel’s operator page gives different parking figures in separate sections, so confirm the current charge with the hotel. Do not carry either historical figure into your budget without checking.
For an accessible room, ask about the entrance, lift, bed clearance and bathroom equipment in practical terms. Confirm the exact room category rather than relying on a general search filter. Map the pavement journey to the festival entrance and the return. A station-side room helps with rail arrival but does not establish the access conditions through Hanley Park.
