2026 event — 2027 date announced: 15 May 2027
Choose your Swansea base
These six nearby options suit the historical city-centre route or the journey towards the Guildhall area. They are not all beside Brangwyn Hall. Decide whether you want to begin near Wind Street, arrive conveniently by train or prioritise the afternoon venue. The organiser has confirmed 15 May 2027, but the new route and layout remain to follow.

Six hotels near the historical route and main-site journey
Delta Hotels by Marriott Swansea
A waterfront base for walking towards the city route or Guildhall area, rather than staying directly beside the historical assembly.
Check rooms on Booking.com ↗Morgans Hotel
Near the Wind Street end of the historical march, useful for starting the day in the city centre.
Check rooms on Booking.com ↗The Grand Hotel
Beside the railway station for arrivals and returns, with a walk into the centre and a longer onward journey to the Guildhall.
Check rooms on Booking.com ↗The Dragon Hotel
A city-centre base near the historical Oxford Street parade corridor, rather than a hotel in the Guildhall neighbourhood.
Check rooms on Booking.com ↗Dolphin SA1
By the central shopping area, convenient for the historical Oxford Street and Wind Street end of the procession.
Check rooms on Booking.com ↗The Georgian Swansea
A smaller city-centre option near Wind Street, with room access worth checking directly before making it your Pride base.
Check rooms on Booking.com ↗Three budget options
These are budget-brand or value-comparison alternatives, rather than a promise of the lowest Pride rate. Compare room size, bathroom, breakfast and any parking charges. Include extra transport when the property is farther from the event. The hotel with the lowest room price may have the highest overall travel cost.
ibis Swansea
An economy hotel east of the centre, requiring an onward bus, taxi or longer walk to the Pride activities.
Check rooms on Booking.com ↗Holiday Inn Express Swansea East by IHG
A budget-brand comparison outside central Swansea, where the room saving should be weighed against transfers and the evening return.
Check rooms on Booking.com ↗The Grand Hotel
The Port Talbot property, distinct from Swansea’s Grand Hotel, offers a rail-connected alternative requiring a planned return train.
Check rooms on Booking.com ↗Overflow areas
Neath, Llanelli and Port Talbot offer rail-connected overflow choices. The operator estimates below describe daytime station-to-station travel, not a May 2027 timetable. Add the onward journey from Swansea station and any transfer between your overflow hotel and its railway station.
Neath: around 10–15 minutes by train. A hotel outside Neath town centre may still need a bus or taxi to the station. Include that cost and check the final connection before choosing it purely for the room price.
Llanelli: usually under 30 minutes by train. Check the actual service for the day and the distance from the station to your room. Keep a return that works if you leave the festival earlier than expected.
Port Talbot: usually under half an hour by train. The Grand Hotel listed above is the Port Talbot property, not Swansea’s hotel with the same name. Plan around Port Talbot Parkway and confirm a comfortable return before adding evening entertainment.
Use Transport for Wales’s route information and actual-date planner. Compare the total room, rail and transfer cost. If you need assistance, include the station meeting time in both directions rather than planning only around the train’s duration.
Before you book
Use the organiser’s confirmed date before making a non-refundable reservation. Read the cancellation deadline and the number of nights carefully. Ask about check-in, luggage storage and reaching reception during event restrictions. Keep written confirmation of any agreed access arrangement.
Think about noise as well as distance. A central room can help with walking while bringing street or venue sound into the evening. Ask about the particular room position if sleep is a priority. Keep enough phone charge and money for the return plan you have chosen.
