2026 event — 2027 date announced: 31 July 2027
March routes, viewing and step-free access
The Gaydio News reported that Liverpool’s Pride will return on Saturday 31 July 2027; the organiser’s own site had not yet published the date. The event access arrangements below describe 2026; ask the organiser about the next edition.
The event arrangements below describe the published 2026 information, unless a different year is stated. Confirm the next edition’s facilities and booking process with the organiser before travelling. Permanent transport and venue facilities should also be checked for your visit date.
The organiser described both 2026 march routes as step-free. The main route ran from Clayton Square along Church Street, Williamson Square, Whitechapel and the Liverpool ONE streets, including Peter’s Lane and Paradise Street to Lord Street. The march was walking-only, so there were no floats or vehicles to manage around. The streets used were pedestrianised, and no road closures were needed.
A supervised accessibility route avoided the lower level of Liverpool ONE, which the organiser noted could be overwhelming because of crowds, echo and noise. It went down School Lane and rejoined the main route at the Paradise Street junction. Registered groups could share access requirements on the registration form. Reserved viewing areas, seating along the route and BSL interpretation of the speeches could not be confirmed for 2026. Ask the organiser before relying on them.
For the community event at M&S Bank Arena, check the route from your arrival point to the entrance you will use, and ask about seating when you book.
Carer and personal assistant tickets: how to apply
LEX venues, including M&S Bank Arena, use the Access Card scheme run by Nimbus Disability. Registration is free for Ticket Quarter customers; an optional physical card costs £15 and works at other participating venues. You must be registered to qualify for a complimentary personal assistant ticket. Registering does not add the ticket automatically.
For arena and Auditorium events, Ticket Quarter’s accessibility page directs bookers to the Access Line on 0344 335 0437, where staff help choose suitable spaces. The arena’s 2026 Pride listings gave the box office number 0344 8000 400, open Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. For other Ticket Quarter events, buy your own ticket, then email the access team with the event name, order number and Access Card details. Requests must be made before the event and depend on availability. Register through the Ticket Quarter accessibility page.
Accessible toilets and Changing Places
Liverpool ONE lists a Changing Places toilet at its Information Centre, 5 Wall Street, close to the Paradise Street stretch of the march. Published hours are 9am–8pm Monday to Friday, 9am–7pm Saturday and 10.30am–5pm Sunday. Contact the centre before travelling to confirm the equipment, access arrangements and opening hours for your visit.
The Information Centre also lists accessible and stoma-friendly toilets. Contact info.Liverpool-ONE@landsec.com or call 0151 232 3100 about access requirements. Accessible toilet arrangements specifically for the 2026 LEX community event were not published in the information we found. Ask the venue about the entrance and nearest suitable facilities when booking.
Quiet breaks and welfare
The accessibility route was the main published sensory measure for the 2026 march. A dedicated quiet room or welfare tent at the community event could not be confirmed. The arena warned that the Saturday event would be loud and recommended ear defenders for younger children. Plan breaks away from the busiest streets, and agree a meeting point with your group.
Stewards and security were stationed at the Houghton Street and Williamson Square junction during assembly in 2026. If you need help on the day, speak to a steward or venue staff member.
Getting around
Liverpool ONE runs a Shopmobility scheme on level 3 of its Q-Park car park, lending wheelchairs and mobility equipment. Its published hours are 10am to 5pm on Monday and Wednesday to Saturday, 11am to 5pm on Sunday; it is closed on Tuesdays. Call 0151 707 0877 to book or confirm.
Kings Dock Car Park at the arena has accessible bays on every floor. For rail travel, book assistance with Merseyrail or through National Rail Passenger Assist, and check lift availability at your stations. Allow extra time on a busy Saturday.
