Pride in Wales

A Welsh Pride visit can centre on a city festival or another community celebration. Choose the event that interests you, then decide whether to make a day of it or stay overnight. The journey back is part of that choice from the outset.

The events below have separate organisers and guide pages. Their 2027 labels distinguish an announced date from one awaiting confirmation. Start with the date before comparing train fares or rooms, and consult each organiser for its detailed programme.

For a first Pride, give yourself one clear reason to go: a parade, performances or spending time with somebody you know. You can add optional activities after choosing that main plan. Leave enough flexibility to change pace once you are there.

If your party is travelling from several places, discuss where everyone will join and leave. Choose a meeting point that does not depend on finding one particular person immediately. Agree whether you will share the return journey or travel home separately.

When considering accommodation, look at the actual street or area and the connection to the celebration. Add transfers to the total price before deciding whether a room is good value for you. Choose reservation conditions that suit how certain your plans are.

Access questions are easiest to answer when they name the activity or location you intend to use. Ask about that entrance, route or viewing area if you need specific facilities. Consider the hotel and transport alongside the event rather than dealing with them afterwards.

Read the organiser’s current instructions before setting out and save anything needed for admission. Keep food, breaks and the return connection in the plan. Choosing a Welsh Pride that fits your time and budget gives you space to enjoy the occasion without an overloaded itinerary.
